Police Issue Warning to San Antonio Area Parents After Finding Drug-laced Candy

Authorities in the city of Fair Oaks Ranch issued a warning to parents after they found dozens of packages of candy laced with drugs during a traffic stop.Officers with the Fair Oaks Ranch Police Department said they found 80 packages of candy laced with marijuana in a vehicle they pulled over Monday, according to a Facebook post from the department.Police issued the warning because the apple and cherry flavored candies are packaged in a way that looks like regular candies, they said.The driver of the vehicle was arrested on an unrelated possession of marijuana charge, according to the San Antonio Express-News.
