Police Investigating Text-message Threat Against Hurst High School

Police are investigating after an "unsubstantiated" threat was made against a Hurst high school.A threatening text message against L.D. Bell High School was sent to about 15 students, police said Wednesday morning. Police called the threat unsubstantiated and said it was unclear who sent the message.Students are remaining in their classrooms at the school in the 1600 block of Brown Trail, and officers are at the school as a precautionary measure.Hurst police are continuing to investigate, and no further details were immediately available.  Continue reading...
