Police Arrest Dallas Man Whose SUV Was Getaway Car in Deadly Robbery

A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a deadly robbery in Pleasant Grove over the weekend. Rudy Gonzales was booked Monday on a capital murder charge. He remains in the Dallas County Jail in lieu of $500,000 bail. Dallas police responded to a 911 call around 8 a.m. Sunday in the 8600 block of Eden Valley Lane, near Prairie Creek and Elam roads. Rolando Lopez-Briones, 24, was found shot in his car, with the driver's side door ajar. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
