The most exciting thing happening on the Dallas dining scene these days is probably the remarkable explosion of regional Chinese dining we're seeing in our northern suburbs – as described in the spring issue of Palate, the annual food, wine and travel magazine from The Dallas Morning News. Seemingly overnight, and particularly in Plano, a wealth of Taiwanese, Sichuanese, Cantonese, Shanghainese and Northern Chinese restaurants have opened their doors – and with them a world of culinary adventure.
