Plano Woman's Body Found in Hole on Maryland Beach

A Plano woman's body was found in a hole in the sand on an Ocean City, Md. beach early Monday. Beach-goers spotted Ashley O'Connor's body about 6:30 a.m. near Second Street. Ocean City and Maryland State removed her body at about 4:15 p.m., officials said. Ocean City spokeswoman Jessica Walters said the 30-year-old had been vacationing there with her family, but was separated from them about 2 a.m., Delmarva Now reported. "The victim was in a hole on the beach," Waters said.She said O'Connor's death appeared to be accidental, but police have not ruled out anything.
