Plano SWAT officers reportedly took a gunman into custody hours after he barricaded inside an apartment complex overnight, police said. Officers were dispatched to a call of shots fired in the 1300 block of Sherrye Drive, near 14th Street and Jupiter Road, about 1:15 a.m. Tuesday. They found a person with a gunshot wound to the leg. That person was transported to a hospital and is expected to survive. The suspect barricaded himself inside a unit. He also sustained a wound.
