Plano Man Sentenced to Life in Prison for Sexually Abusing Two Teens for at Least Four Years

A Plano man will spend the rest of his life behind bars after a jury convicted him of sexually abusing two teenage victims for years, according to the Collin County District Attorney's office.Miguel Castellanos, 44, was accused of abusing a 13-year-old girl and another 16-year-old victim. In March 2017, the 13-year-old told her mother she'd been sexually abused by Castellanos since she was 9-years-old. The mother talked to family members and another victim, the 16-year-old, also said they had been abused.Both victims were interviewed by the Children's Advocacy Center of Collin County and detailed "specific sexual assaults by Castellanos," according to a release from the district attorney's office."Children everywhere are forever safe from this predator because these brave children found the courage to tell a family member about his terrible and repeated abuse," District Attorney Greg Willis said in the statement.The sentence for continuous sexual abuse of a child is ineligible for parole.  Continue reading...
