The Plano City Council was forced to delay a vote to potentially repeal Plano Tomorrow — the controversial master development plan that has been at the center of a long-running lawsuit — after Planning and Zoning Commission members tabled the issue Monday night.Planning and Zoning Commission chair John Muns pushed back hard against what he called a "rushed vote" and echoed the comments of his fellow commissioners that they needed more time to understand what is at stake. The commission will consider how to move forward with a comprehensive plan Aug. 19.Despite the decision that delayed Monday night's vote, the council still took citizen's comments about a future master plan late into the evening.
