A pedestrian was fatally struck while a crossing street in Pleasant Grove Wednesday afternoon. He's been identified by police as 44-year-old Bryant Mumphrey. Mumphrey was in the 9900 block of Bruton Road, near North Masters Drive, when he started to cross from the north to the south curb just before 5:15 p.m., Dallas police spokeswoman Melinda Gutierrez said.
