Pedestrian Fatality Shuts Down Northbound Highway 287 in Southeast Fort Worth

A pedestrian who was fatally struck in southeast Fort Worth prompted authorities to shut down the northbound lanes of U.S Highway 287 Thursday morning.Officers responded to the scene on the highway before the Berry Street exit about 6 a.m. after someone who called 911 said he might have struck a person, according to a police report obtained by The Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
