Passing Car Wrecks Two Southlake Police Vehicles Involved in Traffic Stop

A Southlake police squad car collided with another when it was hit by a passing vehicle while police were conducting a traffic stop early Thursday, police reported.Officers were conducting a traffic stop on top of a bridge in the 300 block of West Highway 114 around midnight when an unrelated vehicle struck one of the police cars and pushed it into another. No officers were injured, but one squad car was heavily damaged, police reported. The driver of the car involved in the traffic stop also wasn't hurt. No further information on the driver who caused the wreck was available.The crash is under investigation.  Continue reading...
