Parking Garages at Dallas Love Field Flood After Storms Bring Heavy Rains and Gusty Winds to Dallas-Fort Worth

Showers and thunderstorms rolled through North Texas Tuesday afternoon and into Wednesday morning, causing flooded roadways, power outages and perhaps some fires linked to lightning.The damage was acute at Dallas Love Field, where vehicles parked on the lower level of the airport's parking garages were flooded. Water nearly reached the roofs of some cars and rendered the beds of some pickups invisible.The airport received 3.30 inches of rain overnight, according to KXAS-TV (Channel 5).
