Paramedic Shot Responding to a Call for Help in Old East Dallas

Police are scouring an Old East Dallas neighborhood where a paramedic was shot Monday morning. The paramedic was in critical condition at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas. A neighbor was also shot and is in stable condition.The firefighter may have been hit multiple times. Acting Dallas police Chief David Pughes is at Baylor, where police cars and firetrucks parked around the perimeter of the emergency department.
