Over 450 Rabbits Rescued From Squalid Kaufman County Shed

Over 450 rabbits — several of them missing eyes, ears or fur — were rescued from a squalid Kaufman County shed Wednesday.The rabbits were found in crates, many of which contained multiple animals and were stacked on top of each other, in a shed covered in tarps. The crates were coated in feces and debris, and many didn't have appropriate access to food and water, the SPCA said in a Facebook post.SPCA officials visited the location and spoke with the owner Monday, but found that conditions hadn't improved when they returned Wednesday.
