OSHA Says Crane That Fell on Old East Dallas Apartments Can Now Be Removed

The federal agency tasked with investigating a fatal June crane collapse in Old East Dallas has completed part of its work, a spokesman said Thursday, clearing the way for the removal of the fallen structure.Juan Rodriguez, a spokesman for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, said the owners of the Elan City Lights apartments can now remove the crane whenever they're able to safely do so.
