One Dead, Two Injured After Car Falls Into Ditch and Ignites, Fort Worth Police Say

One person died and two were seriously injured after a car fell into a ditch and caught fire in north Fort Worth early Sunday morning, police say.The car, which had been traveling southbound on Decatur Avenue at a high speed, fell into a drainage ditch close to the railroad tracks by the 3100 block of Hays Street near Decatur Avenue, police said. When police and fire units responded to the incident at around midnight, the car was fully engulfed in flames.All three car occupants were rescued with serious injuries and taken to local hospitals, where one of them died.
