Officers in Standoff With Suspect Who Fled Stolen Car in Pleasant Grove, Dallas Police Say

Dallas officers are in a standoff Tuesday evening with a suspect who barricaded himself inside a home after police say he bailed from a stolen car. Officers had been following a stolen car around 4:30 p.m. when the suspect got out of the car and fled on foot before going inside a residence in the 9600 block of Paramount Avenue, police said. He remained barricaded inside the home Tuesday evening. Police records showed at least 15 units at the scene around 6 p.m. Police said no injuries had been reported. The situation is not related to a shooting that left one person dead in east Oak Cliff on Tuesday afternoon, police said.   Continue reading...
