A motorist was shot early Friday by another driver who stole his vehicle after the two got into a car crash in east Oak Cliff, officials said.The robbery took place about 1:15 a.m. in the 3500 block of Sunnyvale Street, Dallas police said. A witness described the events to officers, telling them that one driver ran a stop sign and hit the other, prompting both men to stop in a parking lot down the street.There, the witness saw the two drivers arguing before the driver who ran the stop sign pulled out a handgun and shot the victim in the abdomen. The victim ran away, and the shooter got into the victim's car and drove off, police said.Dallas officers found the victim in the 2600 block of Lea Crest Drive with a gunshot wound. Dallas Fire-Rescue took him to a hospital in unknown condition.Police are investigating the shooting and had yet to release a description of the suspect or the stolen vehicle. Continue reading...
