Nonprofits Are Deluged With Calls From Immigrants Concerned About Their Future

As a Dreamer, immigration advocate and political consultant, Ramiro Luna-Hinojosa has been through a lot of struggles for reform and progress in the immigrant community.But watching the election results on Nov. 8 go in favor of Donald Trump, who had repeatedly insulted Mexican immigrants and said he would deport all unauthorized immigrants, was like a kick in the stomach.And it left him distraught."I didn't want to leave the house," he recalled Thursday. "I kept asking myself, 'Is this what America is about?'
