Newspaper: Pilots Warned of Harness Dangers Before Helicopter Crash That Killed Two Dallas Friends

Pilots who work for the helicopter company involved in a deadly crash in New York that killed two Dallas friends last month issued warnings about equipment that could make escape difficult, The New York Times reported.In a story posted to The Times website Saturday, one pilot said "we are setting ourselves up for failure" in helicopters outfitted with harnesses that didn't fit properly.The family of Trevor Cadigan, a former Dallas-based journalist, filed a lawsuit in March claiming Cadigan was unable to escape from his seat on the Eurocopter AS350B2 because of the harness he was cinched into.  Continue reading...
