New Police Chief Tells Applicants: ‘We Are Starting a New Chapter in Dallas'

Dozens of applicants vying for a Dallas police job got a surprise visit from the top cop herself on Thursday.Chief U. Renee Hall, who took over as police chief this week, advised the roughly 80 recruits to put their "best foot forward" during the application process."We are starting a new chapter in Dallas," she said. "We are going to have some great times here in Dallas. ...
