New Apartment and Retail Will Overlook Downtown Dallas Park

Developers have gotten design approvals for a new apartment project going up in downtown Dallas' Harwood Street historic district.Centurion American Development Group - which last year completed the $250 million redevelopment of the landmark Statler Hotel - is building the 6-story apartment and retail building a block away at Harwood and Jackson Streets.The new mixed-use building sits on top of an underground parking garage that will also serve the Statler and the historic Dallas Central Library building, which now houses The Dallas Morning News.Developer Mehrdad Moayedi said 130 residential units are planned in the new building which will face the planned Harwood Park.  Continue reading...
