A disturbance coming up from the southeast will trigger scattered showers and thunderstorms today. While drizzle is possible early, the higher chance of heavy rain will be later this afternoon. Lightning and heavy downpours are possible with some of the thunderstorms. Most of the rain on Wednesday will be west of DFW. Thursday and Friday it will be a return to dry and warm weather.
