NBC5 Forecast: Weekend Thunderstorms

After a few brief early morning showers, a rapid warm up followed as sun brought highs in the 80s.Friday will be another warm day. But the pattern becomes unsettled over the weekend with widespread thunderstorms. The threat for severe weather appears to be fairly low, but a few strong storms will be possible, especially during the morning hours on Saturday. A weak cold front will approach late on Sunday, bringing one more chance for brief thunderstorms by late afternoon or evening, and then an end to the rain.TONIGHT: Mostly clear. Low: 57.
