NBC5 Forecast: Weekend Thunderstorms on the Way

Friday's sunshine brought temperatures back into the upper 70s and low 80s.But the weekend will start off quite differently, with scattered thunderstorms. The threat for severe weather is not extremely high, but a few strong storms will be possible, especially late morning into mid afternoon Saturday. A weak cold front will approach late on Sunday, bringing one more chance for brief thunderstorms by late afternoon or evening, and then an end to the rain.TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy. Low: 63.
