NBC5 Forecast: Turning Very Warm and Windy

An Air Quality Alert remains in effectWednesday will be dry, windy and very warm to hot with highs around 90 and wind gusts to 40 mph. A WIND ADVISORY will be in effect from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. Grass fire danger will be high, especially west of DFW. Spring-like temperatures return to North Texas as a cold front drops into the region early Thursday. Thursday and Friday will be noticeably cooler, but no rain is expected with the front. The next chance of rain is this weekend. Widespread rain and storms appears likely Saturday.
