NBC5 Forecast: Tropical Storm Cindy to the East

Tropical Storm Cindy has made landfall this morning in southwestern Louisiana (just east of Port Arthur). This system will bring heavy rain to east and southeast Texas today. Palestine, Athens, Tyler, and Mineola are some areas within the NBC5 viewing area that will likely see rain with this system later today and this evening. The rain will stay well east of DFW.Friday looks hot with temperatures into the middle and upper 90s with a chance of thunderstorms Friday night and Saturday morning.
