NBC5 Forecast: Threat for Heavy Rain Continues

Rain and thunderstorms will continue across the region through the day Wednesday. Watch out for high water on the roads! While a few strong storms are possible, widespread severe weather is not anticipated.Rainfall totals were impressive on Tuesday with some areas of Collin County picking up over 7 inches of rain. A few areas west of DFW picked up over 4 inches of rain overnight. The threat for heavy rain continues with additional flooding Wednesday evening. A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect through Wednesday evening.The rest of this week (and weekend) looks very nice with sunshine and temperatures in the 80s.
