NBC5 Forecast: The Threat for Severe Storms and Flooding Returns to DFW on Wednesday

From NBC5 meteorologist Brian James - The warm, humid airmass we've had hanging over North Texas is not going away until after Wednesday. In fact, there will be a surge of even deeper moisture moving into the area tonight. All that low-level moisture will be the fuel for storm development by Wednesday afternoon. These storms will approach from the west during the midday hours and are expected to affect the DFW area Wednesday afternoon and evening. Some storms could be severe and flash flooding could result. The weather will clear out on Thursday, but some more isolated to widely scattered showers and thunderstorms will be a possibility as we head into the next weekend.
