NBC5 Forecast: Strong Storms Possible Northwest of DFW Today

Breezy, cloudy, warm and humid conditions are expected today. The chance of thunderstorms will primarily be to the north and west of DFW (Bowie, Jacksboro, Gainesville) late in the day. Some of these could be severe with a hail, wind, and a tornado threat.Tuesday and Wednesday are shaping up to be a couple of soggy, stormy days for most locations. Locally heavy rain will be possible with widespread totals of 1 to 3 inches of rain expected. Isolated totals closer to 4 inches will be possible.Dry and cooler weather will move in by Thursday, just in time for the Texas Rangers opening day of baseball.
