NBC5 Forecast: Storms Possible Early, Then Strong Cold Front

WIND ADVISORY: NOON - 7PMA strong cold front is approaching this morning and will likely initiate strong to severe thunderstorms across North Texas. It will only be a limited window forDFW, with the higher threat to the east. Nonetheless, a few storms may be severe this morning into early afternoon. The primary concern is for hail and high winds. The tornado risk is farther east.Much cooler air with a strong northwest wind will take over later today. Temperatures will be dropping into the low 60s by late afternoon.Thunderstorms return this weekend. There is a chance that some could be severe on Saturday.
