NBC5 Forecast: Scattered Showers and Storms Possible Again Sunday

From NBC5 meteorologist Brian James - After the round of showers and storms this morning, we are looking at a quiet and dry night tonight, but don't put the umbrella away just yet. First, for tonight, we will see a mostly cloudy sky. Temperatures will only drop into the lower to middle 60s tonight ... so it will be a mild and humid night.Sunday will start with a good deal of clouds. While we could see a few breaks in the clouds again, most of the day will be mostly cloudy. As the center of the upper-level storm system moves across the area, additional scattered showers and storms are expected to develop. The storms could be on the strong side, but widespread severe weather is not expected.Scattered showers and storms will continue Sunday evening, but will taper off Sunday night and into Monday morning.We will go back to sunshine for most of the week ahead. Highs will be as warm as the upper 80s to around 90 degrees on Wednesday before a cold front drops us back down into the 70s the rest of the week. TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy. Low: 62. Wind: SE 5-10 mph.
