NBC5 Forecast: Heavy Rain and Thunderstorms Today

Morning fog has set in again early today. This fog is thick in spots and has led to a Dense Fog Advisory until 10AM. Be careful on the roads and allow extra time.Showers and thunderstorms are developing as well. Heavy rain will move across North Texas throughout much of the day. Much needed rain will fall across North Texas, to the tune of 1-2 inches! Some of the heavier thunderstorms could produce some small hail.The middle of the week looks dry and milder before a strong cold front arrives Friday. This front will provide another chance of showers (or thunderstorms). Much colder, Arctic air is set to arrive this weekend and toward Christmas.
