NBC5 Forecast: Heating Up on Sunday

From NBC5 meteorologist Brian James - After a sensational Saturday, we're going to have another terrific day on Sunday! The sky will be mostly clear for most of the night. However, we will have to watch for the possibility of some patchy fog in the morning. It won't last long, though. By mid morning, the sun will be out in full force. That will help to push temperatures up into the upper 80s to near 90° by Sunday afternoon. If we don't make it to 90° on Sunday, then it's a pretty good bet that we will get there on Monday. It will be the first 90° day of 2018 ... and the first since November 4th, 2017 (a span of 185 days). Afternoon highs will be close to 90° for most of the week ahead and it will stay dry.
