After some pop-up thunderstorms the past few days, the pattern has shifted enough to remove the chance of rain through Friday. Highs will be climbing into the mid 90s Thursday, with perhaps the upper 90s by Friday. A weak cold front will approach North Texas Friday night and could trigger some thunderstorms to start the weekend. The main chance of rain this weekend will be early Saturday.
