Another chance of showers and thunderstorms is in the forecast today. Spotty showers around midday could produce a bit of lightning, but nothing too bad is expected. This evening, however, a few severe storms may develop. Some of these could produce hail and damaging wind gusts. The tornado risk would be low with any severe storms, but it's not out of the question.Any storms that develop this evening will gradually slide east during the overnight hours.
