From NBC5 meteorologist Brian James - Time to put those umbrellas back to good use and have a coat handy today. An upper-level storm system will move through North Texas and will generate widespread rain. Don't expect temperatures to change much. Most of the day, we will stay in the 40s. Throw on a north wind between 10 and 15 mph and wind chill values will be in the upper 30s to lower 40s! The rain will begin to taper off from west to east this afternoon. The sky will start clearing out during the overnight hours tonight. Thursday will start with temperatures down in the 30s to near 40°, but everyone will stay above freezing. A mix of clouds and sun is on tap for Thursday with slightly warmer as afternoon temperatures climb back to near 60°. A gradual warming trend is ahead of us through the rest of the week and first half of the weekend before a weak cold front slides into the area on Sunday. Veterans Day events should go off without a hitch with highs near 70°.See the full 10-Day Forecast below.Latest Video Forecast Continue reading...
