NBC5 Forecast: A Seasonal Start to the Work and School Week

From NBC5 meteorologist Brian James - After a day filled with lots of sun, we will see some mid- and high-level clouds come into the area tonight. They will be around for Monday morning, but the afternoon will be mostly sunny with highs in the lower 60s. A normal high this time of year is 62 ... so we're right in the ballpark.Clouds will thicken up even more on Tuesday and stay fairly thick through midday Thursday. A couple showers will be possible Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday morning. Most of us will not see rain, however. Highs will be in the 60s to lower 70s most of the week ahead.Old Man Winter is not done with us yet, though. A strong cold front will blow across North Texas Friday night. That will drop temperatures into the 40s for next weekend. We will have to watch for any moisture that can move through the area as the temperature drops. Please check back for updates.
