NBC5 Forecast – A Couple More Hot Days Ahead Before Relief Arrives!

From NBC5 meteorologist Brian James - All we need to do is get through Sunday and Monday ... and both days will be hot ... before some relief from the heat arrives in North Texas. That relief will come in the form of a summer cold front that will knock our highs down from the upper 90s and around 100° Sunday and Monday down to the upper 80s Tuesday and Wednesday. The cold front will arrive Monday afternoon with the wind shifting to the north. Monday night into Tuesday morning will be our best opportunity for some scattered showers and storms. Dry weather will be with us the rest of next week as temperatures gradually climb back up to seasonably-hot levels by late next weekend. TONIGHT: Mostly clear. Low: 78. Wind: S 10-15 mph.
