NBC 5 Forecast: Unsettled Weather Into Wednesday

For the next few days, it would be wise to keep an umbrella handy. While it won't rain continuously, we will have several opportunities for showers and storms through early Wednesday. Widely scattered showers and storms will be around tonight and Tuesday. The most likely time for rain and storms will be overnight Tuesday through Wednesday morning.The overall threat for severe weather will be low, but the greatest chance for some strong storms will be Tuesday night into very early Wednesday morning. A line of storms is expected to move through the DFW area. These storms may pose the risk for hail and high wind. The tornado threat is low.Once we get to Wednesday afternoon, the rest of the week and next weekend look pretty good. It will be a little cooler than normal for that stretch, but it will also be dry.
