NBC 5 Forecast: Typical Early Summer Weather

The weather pattern through the weekend will be typical of early summer in North Texas. Most of the time will be dry and warm, although pop up thunderstorms can't be ruled out. Conditions for those pop up storms will be most favorable south and east of DFW during the afternoon hours. While a few storms may produce gusty winds, the main impact will be heavy downpours and lightning. Any storms that develop will diminish with the loss of daytime heating. Temperatures will remain near normal with highs in the low 90s for the next several days.Latest Forecast TONIGHT: Partly cloudy. Low: 73. Wind: S 5-15 mph. THURSDAY: Partly cloudy. High: 92.
