NBC 5 Forecast: Turning Colder Tonight Through New Year's Eve

A strong arctic cold front will move through North Texas today with falling temperatures tonight into New Year's Eve. Some drizzle or mist will be possible across the region today, but should end briefly across the northern half of North Texas for a bit during the late afternoon and evening hours.No freezing drizzle is expected until later tonight. But, where temperatures fall below freezing, some light freezing drizzle may lead to some slick spots on area roads tonight into midday Sunday. Especially on bridges and overpasses. Be sure to be extra careful and drive with caution. Temperatures will fall into the 20s on Sunday with wind chill temperatures on New Year's Eve in the single digits and teens.
