NBC 5 Forecast: Spotty Showers and Storms Later Today

Only a few spotty storms are in the forecast today. The greater concern will be severe weather in west Texas and up in the Panhandle where a tornado risk is in place later today. There will be a risk of severe weather as this line moves through, with high winds being the main threat.A break from the stormy pattern will settle back in Thursday, but we may have another shot at rain late Friday and into the weekend.
