NBC 5 Forecast: Not Quite as Hot Today

A weak cold front is slowly moving south across North Texas this morning. Behind the front, conditions will remain toasty this afternoon, but not quite as hot or humid as recent days. Daytime highs over the next few days will be in the mid-90s with heat index values near 100 degrees.All eyes are on the Gulf of Mexico as the weekend approaches. A tropical storm is likely to form. It is possible it may become a hurricane before making landfall.
