Storms have exited and now it's all about the heat. In fact, today will be hotter than yesterday and extremely muggy with a heat index to 109°! Be sure to take it easy in the heat and drink lots of water if you're going to be out. A HEAT ADVISORY is in effect for portions of North Texas through 8 p.m. tonight. Dry and hot weather will be the main weather features through Friday. Low storm chances remain in the forecast through early next week. Best chance will be Sunday and Monday.
