Hot and extremely muggy weather continues today just in time for the first day of summer! Dangerous heat index values will peak in the 105° to 110° range during the afternoon hours. Avoid spending extended periods of time outdoors, especially in the hottest hours of the day and stay hydrated. A HEAT ADVISORY remains in effect for all of North Texas through 7 p.m. this evening.The weekend will be very warm and humid, but mostly rain-free.
