Highs will be in the upper 90s with the heat index between 102-108. Make sure you're slowing your level of activity as the heat continues to climb. Take plenty of breaks, drink lots of water, and try to spend as much time out of the heat as you can.The heat won't ease much late in the week, but highs should drop a degree or two. A brief thunderstorm chance arrives Thursday, then another chance returns late in the weekend.
