NBC 5 Forecast: Heat Advisory in Effect Today

It will be dangerously hot this weekend with higher humidity and highs around 100 degrees. Take it easy if you have to be outside for an extended period of time today. A heat advisory has been issued from noon today until 7 p.m. Sunday. An Ozone Action Day will also be in effect for DFW and surrounding areas again today. This means increased amounts of ozone are possible and could cause respiratory problems to those sensitive to ozone.Hot and humid weather will continue into the first half of next week with no chance for rain.
