NBC 5 Forecast: Cool, Then Much Warmer Ahead

It's cold this morning, but this will likely be the last of the sub-freezing temperatures for the rest of winter! Highs this afternoon will reach the mid-50s, then even warmer weather returns to North Texas the rest of the week into the weekend. On Thursday, highs jump to near 70°! We will stay in the 70s Friday and Saturday before the next cold front moves into the area.The best chance for storms will be on Saturday ... mainly during the first half of the day. Some storms may have a little kick to them, so please be weather aware. Any storms will clear out by early Saturday afternoon. We will have another shot at some storms next Tuesday as well.
