National Trail of Sexual Misconduct Allegations Takes Another Disappointing Turn in Dallas

Sooner or later, the allegations of sexual misconduct that are sweeping the nation were bound to find their way to Dallas.That moment has arrived -- again.No one was more shocked than I to hear that Zachary Thompson, the veteran director of Dallas County Health and Human Services, was forced out of his job after a woman complained that he sexually harassed her. The woman apparently sent a letter to county commissioners detailing what happened and saying she had DNA evidence to back up her claim, according to WFAA-TV.Without getting into the merits of the complaint, this is clearly an embarrassing turn of events for Thompson, a high-profile figure who'd given notice nine months ago that he planned to retire at the end of this month.  Continue reading...
